Whirlowdale, House Extension Project

The design for this detached home introduces a contemporary single-storey rear extension that transforms the relationship between the existing house and its garden. The approved scheme creates a more spacious, light-filled living area with extensive glazing and a modern architectural finish, while carefully integrating the extension with the character and proportions of the original property.

Nightingale, House Extension Project

The design for this remodelled detached bungalow responds sensitively to its countryside setting, creating an enlarged footprint and a completely revised internal layout while carefully reducing the visual mass of the property. The approved scheme provides a spacious new kitchen-diner, lounge, snug, three bedrooms and an integral garage, with the addition of a heat pump to the rear to support a more efficient home.

Valley, New Build House Project

The design of this double-storey house uses the complex terrain of the site to focus on the stunning views of the valley at the rear of the property with expansive glazing features. An understated and minimal appearance from the public view is achieved by keeping the building at a single-storey at street level, with the property then set back behind the established hedge and a stone wall.

Chatsworth, House Extension Project

This project includes the demolition of an existing carport, the construction of single-storey side and rear extensions, and landscaping enhancements to create a patio and seating area at the rear, with a split-level layout created to form easy access to the garden. Additionally, the project features the partial removal of the front boundary wall to allow for off-street parking.
